I love what I do! I know that might sound strange, but it's true. It is a profound privilege to work with families as a funeral celebrant, crafting a ceremony that reflects not just what a person achieved but the true essence of who they were.
No matter the circumstances—even the most challenging ones—everyone deserves a fitting and dignified farewell. Having come from a military background, I have seen firsthand the positive, healing outcome of a good "send-off."
My approach begins with listening. I sit with families — sometimes for an hour or more — asking questions, hearing stories, and piecing together the golden thread that ran through your loved one's life. Whether it was their dry sense of humour, their dedication to family, or their quiet resilience, those details become the heart of the ceremony I create. Every service I write is unique, because every person was unique.

From there, I typically work with families over 3 to 5 days to craft and deliver a ceremony that truly honours your loved one.
